The Real Beauty of Art…

…is found in knowing when to stop.

Melted crayon painting with capiz shell buttons; by Jewel Miller. Done for no reason on previously painted canvas found at the thrift store. If I were to name this painting I’d probably call it, “MELTDOWN.”

  1. That’s amazing Fern. I didn’t even name the painting or take it seriously, but as I was writing this post I just named it Meltdown, sort of tongue-in-cheek. How God makes things come to life is amazing. I think this painting belongs in your office – thrift store ugly canvas brought to new life.

  2. It just hit me while looking at this that an emotional meltdown in the right hands (God’s) can turn out to be a beautiful picture! Thanks for the lesson, Jewel.
