Jeremiah Thirty-two: The Gift of Covenant

Imagine, you keep your part of an agreement, I don’t keep mine, but as long as I live you remain faithful to the initial agreement.

That would be very Christ-like.

God said, “ I will make an EVERLASTING COVENANT with them….. >

That was in the days of Moses and was known as the Old Covenant. Jeremiah speaks of a New Covenant!

The Old Covenant was for the Children of Israel. The New Covenant is for the whole world.

God’s side of the covenant is this:

“…..I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me,
so that they will never turn away from me. (Jeremiah 32:40 NIV)

Never, means never in God’s language.

That means He will never stop doing good to you and will inspire you to fear Him so that you will never turn away from Him.

THERE’S NO ONE I’D RATHER BE IN COVENANT WITH THAN GOD.
