When All the World is B/W

Recently I was tagged by a friend in a social networking site and invited to participate in a black and white photo challenge, which I did.

The Noxubee County High School Tigers win the Class 4A State Championship – again!!

I’ve been messing with my photo album more than really necessary, just to see what some of my photos would look like in black and white.

Here begin my entries in the photo challenge.

Day 1:

My dining room light, found in an antique shop.

Day 2:

My son’s handmade chessboard.

Day 3:

My youngest daughter hand painted this art on her kitchen wall. She saw one like it on the side of a shop in Honduras, where buildings, rocks and anything large enough for a sign, is used for a billboard. She took a picture of it, came home and painted it on her wall.

Day 4:

My son-in-law’s drums.

Day 5:

This photo is one of my favorites. I took it this fall at my sister’s family’s dairy farm in WI.

That’s all of the photo challenge but below are a few more photos that I changed to B&W.

Wash day following our very busy Thanksgiving week.

And now, I’ll share my husband’s and my Christmas greeting, but in its original color. One of our daughters took it.

Have a very blessed Christmas and be strengthened in your faith, family ties, and love for life.

  1. Jewel, I LOVED your photos! And most especially the last one of you and Merv! May you have a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends as well. I will be traveling to IN the day after Christmas to celebrate with all 55 of my family!! At least I think they may all be there! 2014 added a grandson – in-law and four great grand babies! And so the numbers keep growing! Nothing is much more enjoyable than watching the grandchildren having such a good time with cousins!

    Blessings to you and yours,

    Joan
